JavaScript
is a popular language used to increase the
functionality of HTML pages. This course is designed
to enable non-programmers to use an object-scripting
language. Additionally, there is hundreds of
“public domain” JavaScript available for use in
web pages. Their functionality ranges from simple
animations to sophisticated calculators, and all for
public utilization without any licensing or other
charges involved. This course will demonstrate how
to write, where to find these scripts and how to
link them into Web pages. The course includes using
advanced HTML features such as frames, understanding
and using JavaScript control structures, applying
code modularization techniques, applying
JavaScript’s object-based methodology, utilizing
JavaScript’s standard events, applying JavaScript
to the document-object model, understanding
JavaScript features and concepts, utilizing
JavaScript.
