Course Description

This comprehensive hands-on course explains the basic relationship between HTML, browsers and the web. Students learn the basic background and purpose of the World Wide Web and HTML. This course is designed to be platform independent. However, differences between the ways browsers handle different HTML components will be addressed. It deals with understanding differences and similarities in Netscape and Internet Explorer, building and understanding the structure of a basic HTML document, understanding HTML text formatting, applying rules, images, multimedia, applying hyperlinks, designing formatted lists and special characters, designing forms, frames and tables.

Prerequisite

Basic typing skills, working knowledge of any PC operating system and
MS Office is recommended.
