E-Commerce Using ASP

With the explosive growth of the Internet, electronic commerce stands poised to change the way the world does business. To survive and thrive in the new economy, individuals and large and small companies need to understand the technology, issues and challenges involved in integrating web commerce into their businesses. In this course, students will gain hands-on experience designing and implementing web commerce sites. They will learn how to deploy the appropriate products and strategies to make their site a success using Active Server Pages (ASP), Visual Basic Scripts, MS SQL Server 7.0/MS Access (as backend).

Prerequisite

The student must have a good working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and DHTML. Digital’s Web Development course is recommended.
